Introduction About Fatima Jinnah Women’s University
Fatima Jinnah Women’s University (FJWU) was established in the historic Old Presidency building, situated at The Mall in Rawalpindi Cantonment. Classes began at FJWU on December 28, 1998, and the first group of students graduated in September 2001. Women working at the university have made history in multiple ways. As the first women’s university, FJWU is actively involved in managing higher education and offers courses designed to provide students with internationally recognized training. Women’s institutions from around the world have collaborated with FJWU to develop exchange programs and partnerships.
