Islamia University Bahawalpur, located in Punjab, Pakistan, is a public university where students from South Punjab pursue their education. Introduction of Islamia University Bahawalpur
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a public university in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. It started in 1925 as Jamia Abbasia under Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi – V. It became Jamia Islamia in 1963. Then, in 1975, the Punjab Provincial Assembly made it a chartered university called “The Islamia University of Bahawalpur” through the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Act 1975.
